Rosaviacija, the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia, is responsible for overseeing civil aviation in the country. The agency has been mentioned in relation to investigating an aviation incident involving a Red Wings Airlines flight, where a fire occurred in one of the aircraft's engines shortly after departure from Moscow.
