Rosette, an 80-year-old woman, made headlines after being inadvertently trapped inside a bank in Nice while attempting to withdraw cash. On the evening of September 2, 2025, the automatic doors of the LCL bank closed, leaving her unable to exit without a mobile phone to call for help. Despite her efforts to alert the bank's staff, she remained inside until a passerby noticed her plight and alerted the authorities, resulting in a dramatic rescue involving firefighters and police. After being freed, Rosette was checked by the firefighters and safely returned to her home.
