Rotem Atiyas

Rotem Atiyas is the manager of the Eshtaol Nursery at Keren Kayemet LeIsrael (KKL), where he is involved in significant conservation efforts for endangered plant species in Israel. Recently, he gained attention for his role in a groundbreaking project that successfully cultivated the rare and thorny sticky rose, which is native to the Hermon region, in controlled garden conditions. This achievement is part of a broader initiative aimed at preserving Israel's diverse flora, highlighting the importance of botanical research and conservation in combating plant extinction.
