Rozalia Peter, hailing from Lindi, Tanzania, is a determined young woman who dreamt of becoming a mechanical engineer from a young age. Despite facing setbacks in her education due to insufficient exam scores and financial difficulties, she found hope through a phone call from a friend about a scholarship program at the Open University of Tanzania. Rozalia is now among over 400 girls benefiting from the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) program, which aims to empower young women to pursue higher education in STEM fields.
