Rubén Darío López
Rubén Darío López, also known as 'Loro', is a suspected member of the Paraguayan armed group EPP (Ejército del Pueblo Paraguayo), and he was recently in the news following a military confrontation in Canindeyú. He is alleged to have been involved in the kidnapping of former Vice President Óscar Denis in 2020. During a military operation known as 'Cobrarius', López was reportedly killed, and authorities are investigating whether he could provide information regarding the whereabouts of Denis and other hostages.
