Rudy Van Buren, born in 1992, is a Dutch e-sports champion and simulator driver for Red Bull Racing, renowned for his pivotal role in optimizing the car setups for Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen. Despite never having driven a Formula 1 car, Van Buren's expertise in simulation has been crucial to Verstappen's success, including his recent victory in Japan. A former karting racer and competitor in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, Van Buren gained recognition after winning the World’s Fastest Gamer tournament in 2017.
