Ruel Johnson is a writer and politician who has recently faced serious allegations of physical, sexual, and verbal abuse made by fellow activist and columnist Akola Thompson, who claims that their relationship began when she was a minor. Johnson has publicly denied the allegations, referring to their relationship as a 'brief and stupid fling' and has stated that he ended it due to her age.
