Rufina Abaroa Rodríguez

Rufina Abaroa Rodríguez is a dedicated mother and activist from Torreón, Coahuila, who has been tirelessly searching for her son, Alfredo Hernández Abaroa, who disappeared in Veracruz in 2016. Since then, she has traveled across multiple states in Mexico, participating in national searches to find missing persons and advocating for the families of the disappeared. Despite her relentless efforts and the challenges of traveling and fundraising, she has yet to receive any leads regarding her son's whereabouts.
