Rupiah Banda
Rupiah Banda was the fourth President of Zambia, serving from 2008 to 2011. He assumed office following the death of Levy Mwanawasa and focused on national unity and economic development. Banda's presidency is noted for its emphasis on agriculture and social welfare programs, although it was also marred by allegations of corruption and electoral irregularities. After losing the 2011 elections, he continued to be an influential figure in Zambian politics and was involved in various diplomatic and peace-building efforts across Africa.
