Russell Carey

Russell Carey is the executive vice president for planning and policy at Brown University. He is responsible for overseeing various administrative functions and is actively involved in shaping the university's strategic direction. Recently, he communicated a message to the international community at Brown, advising them to reconsider their travel plans in light of the deportation of Dr. Rasha Alawieh, a kidney specialist and member of the faculty, due to heightened scrutiny at U.S. borders.
