Rustam O‘rmonovich Ahmedov

Rustam O‘rmonovich Ahmedov was the first Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan, serving from the establishment of the ministry in 1992 until 1997. Born on November 10, 1943, in the Fergana region, he played a crucial role in shaping the national army following Uzbekistan's independence. Ahmedov held various military positions, including Deputy Commander of Civil Defense in Tashkent, and later served as the Minister of Emergency Situations.
