Ruth Littmann

Ruth Littmann was the daughter of Jewish lawyer and art collector Ismar Littmann. Her connection to the expressionist painter Otto Mueller, who sought her to model for his works, places her in the context of the complex cultural and personal relationships during the rise of the Nazi regime, as her family faced increasing persecution.
