Ruth Mathers

Ruth Mathers is the widow of renowned Irish artist Graham Knuttel, known for her unwavering support during his tumultuous health struggles and her dedication to preserving his artistic legacy. A restaurateur by profession, she met Knuttel over 20 years ago and they formed a deep bond that transformed into a loving partnership. Mathers played a crucial role in managing Knuttel's art career, often preparing his canvases and assisting him in the studio. Following her husband's death in May 2023, she has continued to honor his memory by participating in the organization of a retrospective exhibition showcasing his work.
