Ruxandra Sireteanu

Ruxandra Sireteanu was a renowned Romanian actress born on December 20, 1943, in Craiova. She was the daughter of the esteemed actor Nicolae Sireteanu and inherited his passion for the performing arts. A graduate of the Institute of Theatrical Art and Cinematography, she had a prolific career on stage and screen, participating in numerous theatrical productions and films such as 'Divorț... din dragoste' and 'Niki Ardelean, colonel în rezervă.' Sireteanu was also dedicated to education, serving as a professor at the Hyperion University Theatre Faculty. Her contributions to Romanian theatre were significant, and her passing on February 18, 2014, was a profound loss to the artistic community.
