S. Blair Hedges

S. Blair Hedges is a distinguished professor at Temple University and a herpetologist credited with the identification and classification of the Barbadian threadsnake (Tetracheilostoma carlae) in 2008. He named the species after his wife, Carla, and his work has been pivotal in understanding the biodiversity of snakes in the Caribbean.
