Sabīne Skarule

Sabīne Skarule is an innovative Latvian fashion designer known for her unique designs that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, she honed her skills at The Row in New York before launching her own label, Skarule, in 2021. Her work emphasizes handcraft techniques like knitting, crocheting, and weaving, reflecting a deep connection to cultural heritage. Skarule's recent institutional exhibition, 'Nospiedumi,' showcased her creative process in collaboration with photographer Sāra Bleisa and stylist Monika Tataloviča.
