Sabini

Sabini is a prominent politician from the Frente Amplio (FA) party in Uruguay. Recently, he spoke out against what he perceived as a political bias by the Tribunal de Cuentas de la República (TCR) regarding the purchase of the estancia María Dolores by the Instituto Nacional de Colonización. He emphasized that the acquisition, valued at US$ 32 million, was legally conducted under the provisions of the Colonization Law, despite the TCR's observations that raised concerns about compliance and procedural issues. Sabini argued that the tribunal's report was politically motivated and intended to cast doubt on a transaction that he believes is essential for national development.
