Safaa Al-Tayeb Al-Kouqli

Safaa Al-Tayeb Al-Kouqli is the Regional Director for Gulf Cooperation Council countries at the World Bank. She plays a pivotal role in fostering partnerships between the World Bank and various governmental entities to enhance economic development and digital transformation initiatives in the region. Recently, she was in the news for her involvement in the launch of the International Program for Digital Transformation of Global Leaders, which aims to empower government officials from Rwanda and Zimbabwe with knowledge of the UAE's advanced practices in digital governance and innovation.
