Saidi Asima Kamphepo

Saidi Asima Kamphepo is a traditional authority leader in Malawi known as the chief of Mlumbe. He recalls a time when local residents could easily collect fruits from the Zomba mountain, which are now scarce due to deforestation. Kamphepo has voiced concerns over the current conflicts between villagers and monkeys, both of whom are struggling to find food amid the loss of their natural resources.
