Saint George

Saint George, born in Cappadocia around 270 AD, is a revered Christian martyr and saint, celebrated for his unwavering faith and bravery. He served in the Roman army, where he quickly rose to the rank of captain in the imperial guard. In 303 AD, he was imprisoned and tortured for refusing to renounce his Christian beliefs, ultimately leading to his martyrdom at the age of 33. Saint George is often depicted as a heroic knight slaying a dragon, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
