Saiqa Mullick

Professor Saiqa Mullick is a prominent figure in HIV research and prevention, affiliated with the Wits RHI in South Africa. She has been actively involved in advocating for affordable access to HIV prevention methods, highlighting the importance of such treatments for young people and underserved communities. Recently, she spoke on the transformative potential of Lenacapavir, a new HIV prevention injection, following a landmark deal that will make it available at a significantly reduced cost in low- and middle-income countries.
