Sajó István

Sajó István was a prominent Hungarian architect known for his significant contributions to railway station designs, including the notable Debrecen railway station. His career began in the United States before he returned to Hungary, where he faced the tragic events of World War II, including his deportation to a concentration camp. After the war, he resumed his architectural career and continued to influence public transportation design until his death in 1961.
