Salina Vanderhorn

Salina Vanderhorn is a talented graphic designer and entrepreneur who has transitioned from a high-pressure career in Toronto to a more intentional and fulfilling life in Deep River, Ontario. After experiencing personal grief and burnout during the COVID-19 pandemic, she embraced the concept of micro-retirement, allowing herself the space to explore her passions for writing, painting, and community building. She founded Open Closely, an interactive journal prompt community, and is working towards opening her own bookstore and creative space, all while maintaining her freelance design work.
