Salvatore Mancuso Gómez

Salvatore Mancuso Gómez is a former paramilitary leader in Colombia, known for his role as a commander of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC). He has been involved in various peace processes and negotiations following his extradition to the United States, where he was convicted for drug trafficking and other crimes. Recently, he was in the news for resigning from a peace management role appointed by President Gustavo Petro due to conflicts with the high commissioner for peace, Otty Patiño.
