Sam Darmo

Sam Darmo is the President of the Assyrians for Justice Foundation and a prominent advocate for the rights of Assyrian Christians in Iraq. He has been vocal about the challenges faced by the Assyrian community, particularly after the rise of ISIS, which led to significant displacement and loss of life among Christians in the region. Recently, he praised the role of the Kurdistan Region as a safe haven for Assyrians fleeing violence and persecution, highlighting the drastic decline of the Christian population in Iraq since 2003.
