Samal Mukhtar

Samal Mukhtar, born in May 1985 in Kokshetau, Kazakhstan, has a compelling story of resilience shaped by her upbringing. As the eldest daughter and granddaughter, she was raised by her grandparents after her parents left her at a young age to continue their studies. Growing up in a small village, she experienced unconditional love from her grandparents, which contrasted with her struggles to adapt when reunited with her parents. Samal's journey through childhood, marked by feelings of abandonment and the quest for familial love, ultimately led her to embrace therapy, where she reconciled her past and fostered a deeper understanding of her mother's choices.
