Saman Touranian

Saman Touranian is a professional football player who joined the Iranian club Esteghlal in the summer of 2023. He briefly played on loan at Malavan to complete his mandatory military service. Touranian's return to Esteghlal has been influenced by managerial changes and disagreements within the club, particularly involving coach Ricardo Sa Pinto and former player Ramin Rezaiyan. As of early March 2024, Touranian's military service is set to conclude, allowing him to officially rejoin Esteghlal's squad, although Sa Pinto has been cautious about integrating him back into the team immediately.
