Samantha Davies

Samantha Davies is a renowned British sailor and a prominent figure in the world of offshore racing. With over twenty-seven years of experience, she has participated in numerous prestigious sailing events, including four editions of the Vendée Globe, where she achieved a remarkable fourth place in the 2008-2009 race. Since joining the team Initiatives-Cœur in 2017, she has dedicated herself to mentoring young sailors and promoting gender equity in competitive sailing through her project Magenta. Known for her impressive skills and passion for sailing, Davies has become a source of inspiration for many aspiring sailors, including the talented Violette Dorange, whom she will mentor in the upcoming season.
