Samba Yonga

Samba Yonga is a prominent Zambian cultural historian and one of the founders of the virtual Women's History Museum of Zambia, dedicated to documenting and reviving women's roles in pre-colonial societies. She has been instrumental in campaigns to highlight indigenous knowledge systems, particularly the Sona writing system, which reflects the rich cultural heritage of Zambia that was largely marginalized by colonial narratives.
