Samet Terzi

Samet Terzi, a 19-year-old man from Istanbul, was in the news following a tragic incident in which he allegedly shot his fiancée, Oya Budak, after a heated argument. Budak, who was five and a half months pregnant at the time, had recently discovered she was expecting after a traumatic experience, which led to the dissolution of their engagement due to family pressure. The incident escalated when Terzi expressed a desire to reconcile, but after a confrontation, he reportedly shot Budak multiple times, resulting in her death and that of her unborn child. Terzi was later apprehended by police and charged with murder.
