Sami Bar Lev

Sami Bar Lev, born in Iraq, was a pioneering Israeli settler in the Golan Heights and a founding member of Katzrin. He served as the head of the local council for 32 years, advocating for Israeli sovereignty in the region and playing a crucial role in the establishment and growth of Katzrin since its inception in 1979. Known as 'the father of Katzrin,' Bar Lev's vision and dedication to the land left a significant impact on the community and the broader Golan area.
