Samson Lemayan

Samson Lemayan, a 31-year-old Samburu-based Game Ranger from Maralal, Kenya, gained recognition for winning the men's category of the 25th edition of the Lewa Safari Marathon. Clocking a time of 2:28:35, Lemayan overcame the challenging terrain and humid conditions to secure his victory, dedicating his win to his wife and son. Having previously participated in a half marathon at the same event in 2018, his recent triumph marked a significant achievement in his athletic career, particularly after dealing with injuries prior to the race.
