He was recognized for his distinctive cowboy attire and horseback rides through the streets of Paris. Tragically, Granowsky was arrested during the Vél' d'Hiv Roundup in July 1942 and later deported to Auschwitz, highlighting the dark realities faced by many during the Holocaust.
