Samuel McAlister

Samuel McAlister was a father from Waihī, New Zealand, who went missing in 2021. His remains were discovered two years later, on January 6, 2023, at Motukaramarama Island. The confirmation of his identity through DNA testing was received by his family on June 16, 2023, providing them with much-needed closure after a prolonged and difficult search. Samuel was remembered fondly by his children and family, who have been raising his three children—Rhythm, Kahu, and Amiyah—while keeping his memory alive.
