Samuel Roquette

Samuel Roquette was a young boy from Dublin who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia shortly before his fifth birthday. After enduring more than three years of chemotherapy, he initially returned to a normal, active life, showcasing his love for athletics, football, and Star Wars, as well as his passion for creating Lego stop-motion animation videos. Tragically, Samuel relapsed in December 2019 and passed away just days after his second diagnosis at the age of 11. His memory continues to inspire his family and community, with initiatives like 'Samuel’s Space' at his school and a Blood Bike named in his honor.
