Sanchai Tapan

Colonel Sanchai Tapan, aged 49, served as the Deputy Commander of the 4511th Ranger Battalion in Narathiwat, Thailand. He began his military career over 20 years ago, progressing from a volunteer to a commissioned officer within the 45th Ranger Regiment. Despite his dedication to service, he struggled with depression for over a decade and tragically took his own life, a situation highlighted by his commanding officer as unrelated to recent violent incidents involving the military.
