Sandra Namboozo

Sandra Namboozo is a chemical engineer from Uganda, known for co-developing Karpolax, a biodegradable bag designed to extend the shelf life of fruits. Alongside her colleague, Samuel Muyita, she aims to tackle the issue of food waste and improve Uganda's fruit export potential, which has been hindered by the short lifespan of fresh produce.
