Sandra Perkins-Lighe is a determined entrepreneur from Liberia who transformed her personal struggle with post-pregnancy weight gain into a thriving business venture focused on moringa products. After discovering the health benefits of moringa leaves, she began producing her own tea and quickly garnered interest from the community. This led to the establishment of her company, Zaag Natural, which sources moringa from local growers and has expanded significantly, providing jobs and income for many households. Sandra's journey includes participating in the UNDP Growth Accelerator Liberia Program, where she learned valuable business management skills and secured funding to enhance her production capabilities. Today, she manages a growing enterprise committed to promoting health and wellness, while also empowering local farmers and aspiring entrepreneurs.
