Sandra Reinikova is the stepmother of Justīne, who has been charged alongside her partner, Vladimirs Reinikovs, in the murder of the young girl. Both have been found guilty of severe abuse and ultimately causing Justīne's death, and the prosecution is appealing for more severe sentences.
