Sandra Vega

Sandra Vega is a prominent Spanish labor leader and the first woman to head the UGT's Industry, Construction, and Agriculture federation in Castilla y León. With over two decades of experience in labor representation, Vega has actively fought for gender equality in male-dominated sectors and has been instrumental in addressing workplace safety and promoting women's presence in industry. Her leadership was solidified in February 2023 when she won 91% of the vote for her position, advocating for women's rights and labor reforms while emphasizing the importance of negotiation over confrontation.
