Sandrino Mazzola was an iconic Italian footballer, known for his exceptional career with Inter Milan and his deep connections to the city of Milan. Born on July 8, 1940, in Cassano d'Adda, he was the son of Valentino Mazzola, the legendary captain of Grande Torino who tragically died in the Superga air disaster. Overcoming a challenging childhood, Sandrino flourished in football, debuting for Inter at a young age and becoming a symbol of loyalty and talent, playing 570 matches and scoring 162 goals during his illustrious career.
