Sara States

Sara States is the director of research and scientific education at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Alongside her colleague Shishir Paudel, she has been researching the environmental differences between traditional lawns and meadows for over six years, working to educate the public on the benefits of transforming lawns into native plant habitats.
