Sarah Coyle

Sarah Coyle, believed to be Ireland's oldest person at 108, has lived through significant historical events including two pandemics and the Irish Civil War. Born on July 24, 1916, in Co Wicklow, she has vivid memories of her family's experiences during tumultuous times, including encounters with the notorious Black and Tans. Now living with her daughter in Dublin, she attributes her long life to traditional practices, including the consumption of 'new nettles' for health.
