Sarah Lotus Abena Asare

Sarah Lotus Abena Asare is Ghana’s first female boxing matchmaker, a trailblazer in a male-dominated sport. At just 30, she has made significant strides in promoting boxing events, aiming to inspire women to take on leadership roles beyond traditional roles in sports. With a background in archaeology and a passion for social change, she uses boxing to advocate for girl child education and to combat social issues. As the Executive Secretary for WBC Cares Africa, she also authored a book celebrating Ghana's boxing heritage. Her vision includes helping Ghana produce a world champion within five years.
