Her health challenges began shortly after moving to England with her husband, cricketer Blair Tickner, and their infant daughter. Despite the hardships of cancer treatment, including multiple rounds of chemotherapy and the emotional toll of being separated from her child, Sarah has maintained a positive outlook on life. She emphasizes gratitude for her family, friends, and community support, which she credits for her strength throughout her journey. Now in full remission, she is back to work running a café with her husband and actively participating in fundraising events to give back to the organizations that supported her during her treatment.
