Sasha Mitroshina, a popular Russian blogger and entrepreneur with 2.7 million Instagram followers, has recently made headlines for her involvement in a money laundering case linked to tax evasion. She has acknowledged her guilt in the charges, which allege that she redirected payments for her blogging courses to other accounts in order to avoid taxes, resulting in a significant tax liability exceeding 127 million rubles. Mitroshina was detained in early March 2023 and faces severe legal consequences, including the possibility of up to seven years in prison.
