Saskia Rodríguez Stiechen

Saskia Rodríguez Stiechen is the manager of the International Cooperation Area at the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Policy (Mideplán) in Costa Rica. She was recently in the news for asserting that the elimination of the International Cooperation Unit at the Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (AyA) was 'improcedente,' or inappropriate, highlighting the importance of this unit in managing international cooperation and its strategic role in relation to the National Development Plan.
