Savo Knežević

Savo Knežević is the president and one of the founders of the first association for parents of children and youth with developmental disabilities in Podgorica, established in 1997. With over 130 members, he plays a crucial role in advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities. Knežević emphasizes the importance of the Independent Monitoring Mechanism (NMM) in providing insight into the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and facilitating collaboration among various organizations to monitor and improve access to these rights.
