Savo Štrbac

Savo Štrbac is a Croatian lawyer and former official in the self-proclaimed Republic of Serbian Krajina. He currently serves as the president of the Documentation and Information Center 'Veritas,' an organization dedicated to collecting documentation on the suffering of Serbian citizens in Croatia before, during, and after the Croatian War of Independence. Recently, he made headlines by stating that the relationship between Croatia and Serbia is at a very low level, attributing this to nationalism and chauvinism, and characterizing the Croatian War of Independence as a civil war rather than an attack by Serbia. His remarks on the self-initiated exodus of Serbs from Krajina have sparked significant discussion, particularly regarding the interpretation of historical events from the 1990s.
