Scott Nearing

Scott Nearing was an American economist, educator, and social activist, recognized for his advocacy of sustainable agriculture and simple living. Along with his wife, Helen, he authored 'Living the Good Life,' which became a foundational text for the back-to-the-land movement in the 20th century.
